BOXABL PROCESS

1. PRE-QUALIFICATION

As the journey begins we perform pre-qualification activities. We complete a virtual site visit and construction analysis by using the – Can I Build – to provide satellite views of the property. In these views we will identify the lot-lines, and site set-backs, utility locations, potential utility trenching lines, and then place a virtual BOXABL Casita, or ADU, in your preferred location to give you a visual. This in-depth analysis and preparation will lay the foundation for your project’s vision and success.

2. BOXABL PURCHASE

Let’s shift gears and secure your BOXABL Casita by walking you through the BOXABL order system. This event will notify BOXABL of your specific project, the Authorized Dealer you’re partnered with and where you will select specific options for your project. In this sequence of actions, BOXABL will approve the purchase and provide the building plans to be used in the next phase of development.

3. PLANS, PERMITS, APPROVALS

On to 3rd gear, Box Worx will handle the full permitting process ensuring a smooth transition to final approval. BOXABL building plans have been stamped by the engineers and approved by the state which will reduce the approval timeline.Therefore, the building department will only have to review site location specifics and the utility work to get your vision one step closer. As we approach permit issuance, we will build a timeline, meet with our installation team, and sequence the specific trade lines to get us moving.

4. SITE PREPARATION

In 4th gear, the installation team will set-up the base foundation and prep the necessary utility work. We contact Boxabl to make sure your Casita is in-cue, selected options are correct, and in-sync with our timeline. When ready, Box Worx meets with local authorities for trade line inspections, once approved the team will complete the work. As the foundation cures, we establish the Casaita’s shipping and delivery schedule, the lift or crane equipment, and establish the install date.
 

5. DELIVERY & INSTALLATION

As we round the corner for the final stretch your dreams and vision come to light as we confirm the Casita’s completion, confirm shipping pick-up and delivery to the site, align the equipment and operators, get the safety team activated and in place, the installation team prepped and ready for finishing touches you have requested. The team will complete the Casita landing, utility connections, and call for final inspection. Upon completion we will be issued the Certificate of Occupancy (COO).

6. FINAL & TURNOVER

The Box Worx team will compile the BOXABL required documents package: BOXABL specific checklist, authorized project inspections cards by the local authority, and in return receive the final BOXABL warranty package.

In conjunction, Box Worx will compile full project documentation for the property owner: Certificate of Occupancy (COO), the BOXABL 7-year Warranty package, a full set of approved plans, and all authorized inspection cards, and the keys to your dream home.
